"War is a Racket and Other Irrefutable Truths", our most challenging and powerful album to date, was released January 16th, 2025. The project came about after reading a pamphlet by Major-General Smedley Butler (1881-1940), a 33 year veteran who was once the most decorated Marine in US Military history. Butler eventually came to the realization that he wasn't fighting for justice and peace, but in-fact fighting for corporate interests, claiming "I was a racketeer; a gangster for capitalism". The album not only features anti-war songs, but it also contains songs of social justice and union rights. There are some familiar tunes on there as well as original songs inspired by recent (and not so recent) world events.
